New Volunteer Position: Looking for a Safe Families Charlotte Storyteller

Safe Families Charlotte is impacting the lives of socially isolated families every day in our city!

We’re looking to add a volunteer Storyteller to our team to improve how we collect and share stories of our impact.

Wonderful stories from families served and volunteers are slipping through the cracks. We need your help to capture them!

The need: Someone with a gift for writing and active listening to join our volunteer team as the Storyteller.

The basics: The Storyteller will conduct brief phone interviews (15 minutes) with parents served and volunteers to collect impact stories, and will share those stories in writing in a compelling way. The Storyteller will be supervised by a staff member, who will identify individuals to interview.

The commitment: This volunteer role is a commitment of up to 4 hours each month (usually more like 2-3 hours). This role can be done 100% remotely. We ask for a 1 year commitment to this position.
